RN Values Responsive Care Her Husband Received

Pam Rosenbach

Ron and Pam RosenbachI work for Group Health as a registered nurse, but I don't often get to see the care from the patient perspective. This all changed on April 3, when my husband Ron experienced chest tightness with exertion.

We immediately went to urgent care at Everett Medical Center. Ron was seen by Dr. David Becerril, who referred him for a stress test. We saw internal medicine specialist Dr. Kyle Shephard four days later for a treadmill test, which unfortunately was positive. Dr. Daniel Guralnick, a cardiologist, was in the clinic and graciously agreed to see him for a consultation that same day.

Dr. Guralnick recommended an angiogram. Three days later, Ron was at Overlake Hospital having an angiogram with Dr. Louis Zibelli, cardiologist, and ended up with two stents placed.

We went from first visit to resolution in seven days, which I still find amazing. Ron had wonderful, professional treatment every step of the way, and I am so proud to be part of an organization that gives this level of care. The best news, of course, is that Ron is doing great.

We would like to thank all the physicians, nurses, and staff at Everett Medical Center and Overlake Hospital for all their skill and attention.
