Pregnancy Services

If you're trying to get pregnant or are already pregnant, a full range of health care professionals at Group Health Medical Centers are here to make the process as easy, stress-free, and safe as possible for you.

You can choose from a family physician who offers obstetrics services, an obstetrician/gynecologist (Ob/Gyn), or a certified nurse midwife (CNM). And, if you're having a hard time getting pregnant, our infertility specialists can help you with the most advanced treatments.

One of the most important decisions you'll make is where to have your baby. If you live in the Seattle area, one option is the Family Beginnings Birthing Center at our Capitol Hill Campus. It provides a family-centered, home-like environment — with full medical support if you need it, and a special care nursery for high-risk newborns.

If you live outside the Seattle area, you can choose from the other quality birthing facilities that Group Health contracts with. And if you want a home birth, our Provider Directory lists a selection of licensed midwives who are qualified to guide your pregnancy and delivery. Or call Customer Service.

Whatever your reproductive needs and choices, our focus is on giving you a safe, supportive experience.
