Services at Group Health Eye Care are also open to the public.

Optical Shops

Group Health dispenses more than 45,000 pairs of glasses every year. Our optical shops combine the latest in lens technology from Carl Zeiss Vision with designer frames from Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, and many more. We guarantee our work, our price, and a fast turnaround.

Contact Lenses

We offer contact lenses at most locations. From daily wear to disposable lenses, our doctors will take the time to explain the advantages of all options. Once you've made your selection, your contact lenses will be expertly fitted to make sure they perform properly and are comfortable.

For your convenience, we offer direct delivery to your home on contact lens refills. Call 1-800-664-9225 to speak with a contact lens refill technician, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shipping is free for orders of $100 or more. And, get 25 percent off a complete pair of eyewear within 60 days of purchasing a six-month contact lens supply.

Optometry

Our optometrists provide comprehensive eye exams and prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses. They evaluate and treat many eye problems including infections, minor trauma, inflammations, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease, using state of the art instruments and techniques. They work closely with primary care providers and ophthalmologists at Group Health to ensure excellence and quality in your eye care needs.

Ophthalmology

Our ophthalmologists provide comprehensive consultative and surgical services for a variety of eye diseases and problems including cataract, age-related macular degeneration, eye muscle problems, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease. Ophthalmological consultations are available at several Group Health medical facilities in Western Washington. Contracted ophthalmologists provide consultative and surgical eye care to our members in areas not served by staff ophthalmologists.
