I was born and raised in Seattle. My experiences as a child led me to pursue medicine. I wanted to become a bridge between immigrant families and accessible, quality health care. Before I began practicing medicine, I was a co-founder of Au Collective, a nonprofit dance organization based in Seattle. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because of the genuine, caring staff and clinicians. I am excited to be a part of this inclusive organization and to serve my local community.
I enjoy practicing the full spectrum of family medicine. I am especially interested in sports medicine, dance and performing arts medicine, women’s health, obstetrics, and osteopathic manual manipulation and treatment. I take a patient-centered, holistic approach to care – meaning I try to see each patient as a whole: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. It is important for me to recognize each of these qualities to ensure I’m providing the correct care. I always work with patients to determine what treatment plan they feel fits best with their needs and goals. It truly is a privilege to walk alongside patients in moments of need and to provide the care and love they deserve.
I stay mentally and physically healthy with regular weightlifting and biking. I enjoy exploring the outdoors by fly-fishing, road cycling, and backpacking. Traveling locally and internationally keeps me motivated and inspired. I absolutely love food, and I enjoy cooking at home and incorporating seasonal fruits and vegetables into my meals.
