Group Health and Bartell Drugs were honored with the Innovation in Health Care award from Seattle Business magazine for their CareClinic model in Bartell stores.
Group Health has been recognized as a "Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality" by the Human Rights Campaign after receiving a 100 percent rating on the 2015 Corporate Equality Index.
Group Health Medical Centers clinics have been recognized for their inclusion in the Healthcare Equality Index (HEI) 2014 report for policies and practices related to LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) patients and their families. Group Health has earned this recognition six years in a row.
Group Health Cooperative's Medicare Advantage HMO Plan Receives Highest Star Rating for Quality and Service
Group Health Cooperative's Medicare Advantage plans have earned a 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for four years in a row — 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-Star rating system. Star ratings are calculated each year and may change from one year to the next.
Group Health Cooperative Medicare HMO plans were ranked 14th in the nation — among more than 600 plans — by the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) Medicare Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2014-2015.
In 2013, all 25 Group Health Medical Centers clinics received three-year recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Patient-Centered Medical Home 2011 program for the vital role of our clinicians and clinical practices in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Of more than 80 medical groups who reported their results, Group Health had the highest ratings in the local market, receiving 17 "above average" rankings out of 21
measures, according to the Washington Health Alliance's
2013 Community Checkup Overview.
The American Medical Group Association (AMGA) awarded Group Health Physicians its 2010 Acclaim Award — the first time a medical group has received
this prestigious award on its first try.
Group Health Cooperative was ranked 70th out of 617 commercial health insurance plans in the country by the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) Private Health Insurance Plan Rankings, 2014-2015.
In 2013, for the 13th year in a row, Group Health received the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) highest accreditation status of "Excellent" for its HMO commercial and Medicare plans.
